I spent so much of my childhood playing Super Mario Bros. games on my Nintendo console, and I was so excited to watch the movie adaptation. I was not disappointed at all! The Super Mario Bros. movie was a super fun and nostalgic adventure that perfectly captured the vibes and charm of the games; it was a blast from start to finish.

The movie follows the adventures of the two brothers Mario and Luigi, who are plumbers in Brooklyn. They accidentally get into a mysterious warp pipe in the sewers that takes them to a parallel world. Separated from each other, Mario finds himself in the Mushroom Kingdom, ruled by Princess Peach, while Luigi, unfortunately, arrives in the Dark Lands, ruled by the evil Koopa king Bowser. The two brothers navigate their way through unfamiliar dimensions till they reunite and find a way back home. Along their epic quest to free both kingdoms from Bowser's tyranny, they encounter many familiar characters from the games, such as Toad, Donkey Kong, and more.

This movie is a superb celebration of gaming and animation, featuring stunning visuals, hilarious voice acting, and a fun story. I loved seeing how they adapted the game elements into the movie world, such as the pipes, the coins, the fireballs, and the music. The movie is full of humor and action, with witty dialogue, hilarious situations, and exciting scenes. Not to mention the heartwarming message it delivers about family, friendship, and courage.

The cast is perfect, with every one delivering a top-notch voice acting performance, led by Chris Pratt as Mario and Charlie Day as Luigi. They have great chemistry and charisma, and they capture the essence of their characters. Anya Taylor-Joy is also charming as Princess Peach, who is smart and brave. Jack Black is excellent as King Bowser, who is both intimidating and funny at the same time. The rest of the cast also do a great job in bringing their characters to life, especially my personal favorite character, Lumalee, a very funny and adorable character who keeps saying unexpected dark stuff throughout the movie.

The movie was a very entertaining and nostalgic experience that I would recommend to anyone who loves Super Mario Bros. or just wants to have a good time. If you are looking for a movie that will make you feel like a kid again, The Super Mario Bros is a great pick. The movie was super super super!
