Have you ever felt anxious? Have you ever wondered what connects you to other people? Have you ever laughed and cried all at once? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you should read “Anxious People” by Fredrik Backman.

The reason why I picked to read this book was because I was feeling anxious due to work. I found the name of the book painfully relatable, so I decided to give it a go, and I must admit it didn’t disappoint. Now, it’s one of my all-time favorite books.

Anxious People is a brilliant novel that explores the lives of a group of strangers who happened to be drawn together due to a failed bank robbery and a hostage situation. The novel is full of humor and surprises as Backman unveils the secrets and stories of each character and how they relate to each other. The novel also tackles some serious themes, such as loneliness, depression, suicide, forgiveness, and hope.

Backman is a master storyteller who knows how to create memorable characters and construct an engaging plot. His writing style is both witty and emotional, making you laugh out loud one moment and tear up the next.

This novel will make you feel less alone in this world. It'll make you appreciate the people around you, even if they are annoying or difficult. It will make you realize that everyone has their own struggles and worries, and that kindness and compassion can go a long way. It'll make you think about what truly matters in life and what makes us humans.

Anxious People is a novel that will remain in your heart after you finish reading it. It's a novel that will make you want to hug your loved ones and tell them how much you care. It'll make you appreciate you’re alive.

It's one of the best books I have ever read, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a good story with unforgettable characters.
